Rental Fee Credited Toward Purchase of New Infrared Camera

N. Billerica, MA, August 19, 2004 – FLIR Systems has announced a new direct-from-factory infrared camera rental program with a flexible rent-to-buy provision through which up to 80% of the rental fee can be credited toward the purchase of a new FLIR infrared camera. In a special, seasonal promotion ending September 30, 2004, first time rental customers can rent for one week and get a second week free and then apply 100% of their rental fee as a credit toward their purchase of a new camera.

“The new rent/buy program was created to accommodate a fast-growing number of thermographers who are finding that renting is perfect for pre-purchase evaluation, as well as for short-term applications or temporarily replacing a unit in for service,” said Kellie A. Hanlon, Rental Program Manager.

The program covers purchases of FLIR’s ThermaCAM® P/S-, E/B- and A-Series cameras. The rental fee credit is applied to the purchase of a camera made within 90 days of the completion of the rental*. In addition, the company provides trade-in allowances for any brand or model of infrared camera toward the purchase of a new FLIR infrared camera.**

The FLIR Infrared Camera Rental Program offers a large inventory of its latest models. Renting an infrared camera directly from the manufacturer ensures receiving equipment that is factory certified, calibrated, and inspected by a certified factory technician and access to the latest equipment that some program guidelines may require. Companies that are ISO-certified can rent from FLIR, the world's only ISO-certified infrared camera manufacturer that rents its products.
