Painless, Automatic Report Generation
In an easy, step-by-step process, ThermaCAM Reporter 7 features a Report Wizard that guides you step-by-step through the process of adding images and text, making the report creation process simple and fast. The Wizard automatically combines all IR inspection data—thermal and visual images, temperature measurements, and text notes—into crisp, professional, easy-tointerpret maintenance reports. If you have to leave your PC before the report is completed—for example, if you are selecting numerous images—you can save the incomplete report and come back to finish it later.
The Rapid Report Manager enables you to create desktop icons based on predefined report templates.To create infrared inspection reports in a single step, simply drag image files onto the Rapid Report Manager™ icon on the desktop and a report is immediately generated.
Compatible with a Wide Variety of Image Formats
Reporter 7 supports the ThermaCAM™ .jpg and .img image formats used with FLIR and Agema infrared cameras, the ThermaCAM™ .tif image format used with the Inframetrics ThermaCAM™ and 700 Series infrared cameras, and the ThermoTeknix .tgw, .tmw, and .tlw formats created by Thermonitor and Thermagram imaging software.

Quick Reporting
Desktop shortcuts can be created and linked to different templates using the Rapid Report Manager. You can simply “Drag and Drop” infrared and visual images from the camera to the appropriate shortcut to generate a report.
Wizard-guided report writing
A Report Wizard is built-in to Microsoft Word to guide the user through the process of creating a new report. No additional software is required. You can also save the Wizard settings and return to the same step without starting over.
Other reporting features
- A report summary can be automatically created using the Summary table.
- A report can be converted to Adobe PDF format without any additional software.
- All temperature and report data can be displayed in Results tables.
Analysis functions
- Multiple spotmeters, rectangles, circles, polygons, line profiles (straight and bendable), and isotherms
- Use the Delta tool to easily calculate the temperature difference between two measurement tools.
- Custom formulas can be created and added to the Results table.
- Conditional formatting can be used to automatically alert the user if a temperature has exceeded a certain value.
- A temperature profile can be graphed for each line.
- A histogram of temperature can be displayed for lines or area tools.
IR Image Manipulation
- Adjust object parameters like emissivity, ambient temperature, atmospheric temperature, distance, and relative humidity.
- Adjust IR image level and span.
- Change the color palette, measurement tool colors, and measurement tool labels.
- Zoom in on the image in 4 increments: 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x. In addition, you can scroll to any part of the IR image while zoomed in.
- Play any sequence file (*.seq) recorded with Researcher or with the S60 burst recording feature right in the report. You can measure temperature on any frame in the sequence, and you can convert the sequence to an AVI file. Histograms and line profiles will update as the sequence plays in the report.
Database Option
Reports created in Reporter 7 can be exported to Thermacam Database for archiving. All temperature, image, text, and report data is exported and available for query within the Database program. Reports can also be created from saved queries using Reporter 7.
